Macro Bugs!

I took a bunch of 'macro' pictures of bugs from the CalArts natural history collection for a final project for my class. Here's some of my favorites. The rest will be up on the collection's website in the next week or so.

They kind of remind me of weird monsters from Godzilla or something.

The variety of unpleasant texture on bugs is fascinating.I'd love to see Imax footage on bugs this close to see how their mandibles worked, or how they take off/land or eat or fight.
